Ace of the Diamond act II Second Cour Premieres October 11, New Key Visual Revealed

The second cour of Ace of the Diamond act II Second Season, the sequel to the TV anime Ace of the Diamond act II, will begin airing on October 11 on the six station TV Tokyo network and other broadcasters. A new key visual depicting the showdown between Seido High School and Inashiro Industrial High School has also been unveiled.

The anime is based on the popular manga by Yuji Terajima. The story follows protagonist Eijun Sawamura, who enrolls at Seido High School, a prestigious high school baseball powerhouse, and aims for the top of the nation alongside Kazuya Miyuki, Satoru Furuya, Haruichi Kominato, and his other teammates.

The TV anime series began in 2013, while Ace of the Diamond act II aired from 2019 to 2020. The first cour of its sequel, Ace of the Diamond act II Second Season, aired from April through June this year.

The newly released key visual features the members of Seido taking on their longtime rival, Inashiro Industrial ace Mei Narumiya. Sawamura and Furuya are shown confronting Narumiya, while Miyuki, who has competed against Narumiya since their junior baseball days, also appears alongside Kominato and Yoichi Kuramochi, both of whom carry a strong desire to reach Koshien. Narumiya stands before Seido as the formidable “King,” with all of the players depicted in dynamic poses.
