Ace of Diamond act II Second Season Cour 2 Airs in October with Seido vs Inashiro Industrial, GLAY and OxT Themes

The second cour of Ace of Diamond act II Second Season, the sequel to the TV anime Ace of Diamond act II, is set to air from October on TV Tokyo affiliates. The theme songs have also been announced, with GLAY performing the opening theme and OxT performing the ending theme.

Both artists have contributed many songs that have colored the Ace of Diamond anime series over the years, and they will now add further excitement to the final game between Seido High School and Inashiro Industrial High School.

Seido Faces Inashiro Industrial in the Final

In the second cour, Seido High School advances to the final after defeating Ichidai Third High School in the semifinal. Their opponent in the final is Inashiro Industrial High School, the same team they faced the previous year. Seido will once again take on Inashiro ace Mei Narumiya.

The newly released teaser visual for the second cour features Miyuki and Narumiya facing each other. The two have known each other since their Little League days and recognize each other’s abilities. The story will depict their long awaited rematch during the final summer of their high school baseball careers.

Ace of Diamond is a popular baseball manga that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine from Kodansha in 2006. The story follows Eijun Sawamura, who enrolls at a prestigious baseball school and aims for Koshien while competing and growing alongside his teammates.

The second part, Ace of Diamond act II, began serialization in 2015. It follows Sawamura Eijun as a second year student after making his Koshien debut, depicting a new challenge for the Seido High School baseball team. The manga concluded in October 2022, bringing the 16 year series to a close.

The anime series began airing in 2013. The first season of Ace of Diamond act II aired from 2019 to 2020, while the second season aired from April to June 2026. The series has also been adapted for the stage and remains popular among professional baseball players. Shohei Ohtani and Kodai Senga are among the players who read the manga during their school years before becoming professionals, showing its major influence on the baseball world.
