The company published a statement on its official website titled “Notice Regarding the Audio Content Project POLYPHONY.”

“We are aware that voice actors’ voices are currently being used for unauthorized AI training, resulting in the generation and use of highly similar voices in ways they never intended,” the company explained.

“This project operates under legitimate licenses and is also intended to draw a clear distinction between authorized content and so called pirated versions created through unauthorized training and generation. It will respect the rights of voice actors by ensuring that they receive appropriate compensation and by establishing contractual control over how their voices are used under the supervision of experts, thereby preventing unwanted uses.”

The company continued, “Based on these principles, the project will operate with the explicit consent of the voice actors themselves and under strict rules protecting their rights. We will build a system that ensures the fair distribution of profits and place the irreplaceable value of voice actors above all else.”

“By viewing AI as a partner that can expand the possibilities of creative expression, we aim to establish a healthy relationship between voice actors and AI.”

Stay Luck concluded, “We hope you will look forward to our new challenge of fostering healthy collaboration between voice actors and AI, and we sincerely ask for your continued support.”
