Round1 and ONE PIECE Launch First Simultaneous Japan and U.S. Collaboration Across 159 Locations
The comprehensive entertainment venue Round1 will hold a collaboration campaign with the popular TV anime ONE PIECE from July 18 to October 17. The campaign will take place at 159 locations in total, including 100 stores in Japan and 59 stores in North America. For Round1, this marks its first simultaneous Japan and U.S. rollout with TV anime content.
The collaboration will feature photo spots using newly drawn illustrations, crane game decorations, limited prizes, collaboration packages linked to activities such as bowling and karaoke, as well as food and drink menus. In addition, the ONE PIECE Card Game ROUND1 Promotion Pack has been produced, featuring 10 types of original cards that will be given to customers who purchase collaboration menu items.

Hidetsugu Kawaguchi, President and Representative Director of Round One Japan, described the campaign as “one of our largest collaborations, spanning 159 locations in Japan and the United States with the globally popular ONE PIECE.” He commented, “By making use of our strength in store numbers, we believed we could deliver cross border entertainment to many fans in Japan and abroad in a way that is accessible, easy to enjoy, and worth experiencing again and again.” He added, “Please look forward to this special experience made possible by Round1’s store network in Japan and the United States.”
Kawaguchi also said, “This simultaneous launch in Japan and the United States is an initiative that symbolizes our global expansion,” adding, “By bringing together a globally popular IP with our store network in Japan and the United States, we are seeing simultaneous excitement emerge across borders, and we feel a strong response to the possibilities of a new kind of experience based entertainment.”

Mayu Ohiwa, Vice President and Chief of Staff, New Business Development at Round1 USA, said, “I am also a big fan of ONE PIECE myself.” She continued, “Through this special collaboration that could only be realized by the partnership between Round1 and ONE PIECE, we hope visitors will feel the appeal of Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates and enjoy this one of a kind experience.” She added, “There are many highlights to see, including Luffy enjoying bowling and Zoro taking on billiards with three cues.”

Ohiwa further explained, “One of the major goals of this project was to provide a consistent and high quality experience in both the United States and Japan. We hope this partnership inspires fans around the world and becomes an opportunity for them to enjoy the smiles, adventure, and excitement that both ONE PIECE and Round1 represent.” She also called on fans to visit, saying, “The adventure surrounding ONE PIECE continues. Round1 has previously developed IP collaborations in Japan and abroad, and through this project, the company aims to further strengthen its delivery of entertainment experiences across regions.
