Aoashi Season 2 Premieres October 4, 2026 on NHK E TV, Main Visual Revealed with 10-FEET on Opening Theme

The first cour of the TV anime Aoashi Season 2 is set to air on NHK E TV every Sunday at 5:00 p.m.(JST) starting October 4, 2026. Alongside the broadcast announcement, the main visual has been unveiled. It was also announced that 10-FEET will perform the opening theme, while Ai Higuchi will perform the ending theme.



The series is based on the soccer manga Aoashi by Yugo Kobayashi. The manga began serialization in Weekly Big Comic Spirits in 2015 and concluded with its 40th volume, released in August 2025. The series has surpassed 25 million copies in circulation. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2022.

Known for its realistic depiction of soccer and its story of the grounded growth of protagonist Ashito Aoi, the series has gained support not only from anime fans but also from sports fans.


The first cour of Season 2 will cover the first 12 episodes of the total 24 episode season. The newly released main visual features Ashito at the center, joined by members of Tokyo City Esperion Youth A Team, including Nagisa Akutsu, Haruhisa Kuribayashi, Yuma Motoki, Taira Nakamura, Yoichi Kiriki, Eita Takasugi, and Enshin Akiyama.
With Ashito finally promoted to the A Team, attention will focus on how he grows through encounters with stronger players and the intense competition that awaits him.


Cast Members Share Handwritten Comments


To mark the announcement, handwritten comments arrived from Koki Osuzu, who voices Ashito Aoi, Shunsuke Takeuchi, who voices Nagisa Akutsu, and Yuichiro Umehara, who voices Haruhisa Kuribayashi.

Osuzu described the highlight of Ashito in Season 2 as “soccer at a level closer to the pros.” Takeuchi drew attention to Akutsu by writing, “Look out for that cool buzz cut.” Umehara summed up Kuribayashi’s highlight in a single word: “anguish.”


Opening and Ending Theme Artists Announced

emotionally resonant lyrics and high energy live performances. Ai Higuchi, who will perform the ending theme, is known as an artist whose anime theme songs have received strong praise both in Japan and internationally.

Details about the songs will be announced at a later date.
