Pokémon 30th Anniversary Merchandise Revealed Featuring Classic Game Box Art Designs, Including T Shirts, Collectibles, and Accessories

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, Pokémon Center Online will release a wide range of products featuring package designs from throughout the history of the Pokémon video game series.

The front of each T shirt features Pokémon that appeared on the box art of past Pokémon titles. The sleeves include woven tags displaying icons of the gaming hardware on which each title was originally released.

The back of each shirt showcases a timeline of Pokémon game releases. The typography is inspired by the logos and visual styles of the various game titles, with the corresponding featured game highlighted in a different color.

Each T shirt comes with a dedicated storage pouch decorated with the package artwork of the matching game. A rubber zipper charm inspired by the gaming hardware compatible with that title adds an additional nostalgic touch.

Caps and Sacoche Bags Feature Pokémon History

The collection also includes black caps and sacoche bags featuring the Pokémon logo. Hidden design details include the release years of Pokémon titles, which appear beneath the cap brim and along the shoulder straps of the bags.

Capsule Toy Collections Recreate Classic Pokémon Games

The Package & Cartridge Keyholder Collection and Package & Game Card Keyholder Collection will be available as capsule toys.

These miniature collectibles faithfully recreate classic Pokémon game packages, cartridges, and game cards down to remarkable detail. The designs include realistic circuit board artwork, reflective package finishes, side panel graphics, labels, and even the warning text found on the backs of the original packaging.

Premium Magnets and Pins Inspired by Historic Pokémon Releases

The Package Magnet Collection recreates the shape, texture, and appearance of historical Pokémon game packages as accurately as possible. Special attention has been paid to metallic paper finishes and glitter effects, resulting in premium quality collectibles. Glossy coatings on the front replicate the shine of the original retail packaging.

The Package Pins Collection features sparkling borders surrounding the Pokémon artwork and logos, with a glossy epoxy finish that gives each pin a luxurious three dimensional appearance. A highlight of the lineup is the Package Pins All Package Collection 1996 to 2025, a framed set featuring pin versions of 39 Pokémon game packages released throughout the franchise's history.
