The Ghost in the Shell Reveals Fourth PV, Ending Theme “Blue” by MILLENNIUM PARADE, and Anime Expo 2026 Premiere
The Ghost in the Shell is set to premiere in July 2026, and a fourth promotional video featuring the series’ ending theme has now been released. The ending theme has been revealed as “Blue” by MILLENNIUM PARADE, and comments from Daiki Tsuneta and Saya Gray have also been released. In addition, the anime will hold a special premiere screening and panel event at Anime Expo 2026, the largest anime convention in North America, taking place in Los Angeles.

Fourth Promotional Video Released
The newly released fourth promotional video features the ending theme and delivers an emotional look into the inner lives of the characters surrounding protagonist Motoko Kusanagi, a full body cyborg.
The footage highlights the series’ deep human drama while offering a glimpse into the complex themes that have made Ghost in the Shell a landmark work of cyberpunk fiction.
Ending Theme Confirmed as “Blue” by MILLENNIUM PARADE
The ending theme for the series has been confirmed as “Blue” by MILLENNIUM PARADE.
Following its involvement with Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, Daiki Tsuneta, known as a member of King Gnu, returns to the franchise through his creative collective MILLENNIUM PARADE.
The song also features internationally active artists Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar.
Production on the track began approximately three years ago with Tsuneta and Saya Gray. Daniel Caesar later joined the project, completing what has become a unique international collaboration. The song will serve as the ending theme for this new generation of Ghost in the Shell.

Anime Expo 2026 Event Announced
A special event for The Ghost in the Shell will be held at Anime Expo 2026, taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 2 through July 5, local time.

Produced by acclaimed animation studio Science SARU, the new adaptation reimagines the iconic cyberpunk masterpiece for a new era.
During the panel event, attendees will be able to watch the United States premiere screenings of Episodes 1 and 2, giving fans an early look at one of the most anticipated anime series of the year.
Members of the production staff will also appear on stage to discuss the series’ core concepts and share behind the scenes stories about its distinctive visual style and creative direction.
Additionally, a signing session featuring director Moko-chan and character designer and chief animation director Shuhei Handa will be held.
Visitors can also look forward to a dedicated Ghost in the Shell: The Ghost in the Shell exhibit area at the Bandai Namco Filmworks booth.
