The Detective Conan collaboration episode that aired on June 6 followed the Detective Boys as they solved a series of jewel theft cases. After learning about a string of jewel robberies occurring throughout Beika Town, Ayumi becomes excited, comparing the incidents to the plot of her favorite anime, Precure, and declaring that if a band of thieves appears, she might get to meet a Precure.

Conan and the Detective Boys volunteer to guard Kaneko Jewelry, which is rumored to be the thieves’ next target. After tailing a suspicious customer, they uncover both the date of the planned crime and the gang’s hideout. Although it initially appears that the police have successfully rounded up the entire criminal group, Ayumi notices something that does not quite add up.
It is eventually revealed that the people arrested by the police had been recruited through illegal “dark part-time jobs,” and that the true mastermind remained at large. Conan and the others rush back to Kaneko Jewelry, where they confront the real culprit. As they attempt to capture the criminal, Cure Answer suddenly appears.
