It was announced on Jump's official YouTube channel's information program "Jump PRESS" that the Editor-in-Chief of Weekly Shonen Jump will change from Hiroyuki Nakano to Yu Saito.

On the program, Nakano reported, "This time, the Editor-in-Chief of Weekly Shonen Jump will be handed over from me to Deputy Editor Yu Saito."
