The day of the Karaku Cup preliminaries has finally arrived. This year, all eyes are on Karashi Nerimaya, a college student aiming for his third consecutive victory, and Hikaru Koragi, a rising star and popular voice actress. Amidst the excitement, the host, Kaisei, tells reporters that he backs an unknown high school girl named "Akane" as a top contender for the title. Koguma, Guriko, and Iwashimizu also appear at the venue to support Akane. Facing off against such formidable rivals, will Akane be able to clear the preliminaries with her performance of "Jugemu"?
