Akane-banashi Episode 3 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Akane Joins the Shiguma School as an Apprentice

The story and preview images for Episode 3 of the TV anime Akane-banashi (JP: あかね噺) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, April 18 at 11:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 3 Story

After completing her first stage performance and finding fresh inspiration from Kaisei Arakawa, Akane decides to join the Shiguma school as an apprentice. Master Shiguma introduces her to a group of senior disciples with strong personalities, and the serious-minded Kyoji Arakawa is assigned to lead Akane's training.

Akane is eager to start refining her craft, but Kyoji assigns her nothing but menial chores. Furthermore, she soon finds herself undergoing training in a completely unexpected location...
