Bandai Namco HD Reports Full Year Earnings as Gundam Sales Surge by Nearly 100 Billion Yen to 254.3 Billion Yen

Bandai Namco Holdings announced its full year consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026 on May 13.

Bandai Namco HD Posts Higher Sales and Profits

According to the report, net sales reached 1.348246 trillion yen, up 8.6 percent year on year. Operating profit was 189.517 billion yen, up 5.2 percent, ordinary profit was 201.923 billion yen, up 8.3 percent, and profit attributable to owners of parent was 140.651 billion yen, up 8.8 percent. The company posted increases in both sales and profit.

A major contributor was the excitement surrounding the Gundam series, including the hit new video work Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX and the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION exhibition at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

Gundam IP Sales Rise to 254.3 Billion Yen

In supplementary materials for its financial results, Bandai Namco HD disclosed sales by IP across the entire group. Mobile Suit Gundam recorded sales of 254.3 billion yen, compared with 153.5 billion yen in the previous fiscal year, marking an increase of approximately 100 billion yen.

Ultraman posted 9.6 billion yen, compared with 14.0 billion yen in the previous year. Kamen Rider recorded 29.7 billion yen, compared with 30.7 billion yen. Super Sentai and PROJECT R.E.D reached 7.0 billion yen, compared with 6.4 billion yen. DRAGON BALL posted 138.0 billion yen, compared with 190.6 billion yen. NARUTO recorded 25.7 billion yen, compared with 26.9 billion yen. Pretty Cure reached 9.3 billion yen, compared with 7.9 billion yen. ONE PIECE posted 139.3 billion yen, compared with 139.5 billion yen.
