Pokémon Horizons Enters New “Wonder Voyage” Arc with Trailer Revealing New Characters and Mega Raichu X & Y

The popular anime Pokémon Horizons will enter its new story arc titled “Wonder Voyage” beginning with the episode airing on May 22. To commemorate the announcement, a new promotional video has been released, along with comments from the main cast: Minori Suzuki as Liko, Yuka Terasaki as Roy, Yoshino Aoyama as Dot, and Natsumi Fujiwara as Ult.

The trailer highlights Liko and her companions as they rediscover their sense of purpose after feeling lost, while also depicting the Rising Volt Tacklers setting off on a new journey. It also introduces new elements such as the character Navi, the appearance of Ditto, and the debut of Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y. The video concludes with the call “Reboot!”, signaling the beginning of a brand new story.

■Minori Suzuki (Liko)
Over the past few years, Liko and her friends have continued to face challenges alongside Pagogo and others. Through these adventures, both Liko and Roy have grown tremendously. The new arc “Wonder Voyage,” following “Rising Again,” features not only intense Mega-level battles but also plenty of nostalgic, everyday moments.

Both Liko and I have been running forward at full speed with our companions, to the point where we sometimes forget how to slow down, or struggle to regain momentum once we do. Still, we are rediscovering the excitement of returning to our roots and seeking that sense of wonder once again. This new arc explores Liko’s enduring love for Pokémon from many different angles. I hope we can share this feeling with fans around the world through the anime. And hopefully, we will meet new companions along the way.

■Yuka Terasaki (Roy)
It has been three full years since the series began. While we have experienced several new arcs, “Wonder Voyage” feels somewhat different. After pursuing the goal of eliminating Lacrium, Liko and her team now set out once again in search of encounters with unknown Pokémon. In a way, this might mark the true beginning of their adventure.

With new members joining, the Rising Volt Tacklers have become even more lively. I am excited to see what kind of story awaits. I hope everyone continues to enjoy the journey with us.

■Yoshino Aoyama (Dot)
The phrase “Wonder Voyage” and its festival-like key visual already convey an overwhelming sense of excitement. Up until now, there have been many grand and intense battles. Each time, Liko and the others faced them with determination, trusting their partners with everything they had.
