Re:Zero Season 4 Episode 4 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Subaru Guided to a Mysterious Location by Shaula

The story and preview images for Episode 4 of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World (JP: Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活) Season 4 (Episode 70 overall) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 PM (JST) in Japan, and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 70 Story

Subaru wakes up inside the dragon carriage and is informed by Beatrice that everyone has safely reunited and that they have successfully reached the interior of the Pleiades Watchtower.

His relief is short-lived, however, as he is greeted by a passionate embrace from Shaula, a young girl who calls herself the tower's "Sage" and refers to Subaru as her "Master." Under her guidance, the group steps into "Taygeta," the third floor of the tower. This location serves as the testing ground to earn the right to enter the Great Library of Pleiades, which is the original function of the watchtower.
