The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. 10th Anniversary Visual Revealed as Creator Jokes “Should We Do a Sequel?… Wait, there’s no slot for that?”

A special visual celebrating the 10th anniversary of the TV anime The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. has been unveiled. Alongside this announcement, a fan voting campaign to select favorite episodes has been launched. Comments have also been shared by original creator Shuichi Aso, director Hiroaki Sakurai, and Hiroshi Kamiya, the voice of Kusuo Saiki.

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump for six years, the manga by Shuichi Aso has surpassed 9 million copies in circulation. The anime first premiered on July 4, 2016, followed by multiple seasons and arcs including the second season, the conclusion arc, and the Reawakened arc, totaling 56 installments and 280 episodes across all formats.

The newly released anniversary visual features Kusuo Saiki, the powerful psychic, at its center, surrounded by familiar characters such as Riki Nendo, the unpredictable and unreadable eccentric, Shun Kaido, the chuunibyo personality, Kokomi Teruhashi, the flawless beauty, and Aren Kuboyasu, the former delinquent. The illustration is designed like a dynamic painting with characters seemingly emerging from the frame.

Additionally, a deformed illustration of Kusuo bending a spoon with his psychic powers, originally revealed at Jump Festa 2026, has been introduced as the official 10th anniversary icon.

Episode Voting Campaign Details

A fan vote to select the most beloved episodes from all 280 episodes across the series will begin on May 1. In addition to the main favorite episode category, special categories such as most heart fluttering episode, most exasperating episode, and most shocking episode will also be included.

The top three episodes overall and the winners of each special category will be streamed for free on the Jump Channel for a limited time starting August 16. Popular episodes from the rankings will also be turned into merchandise available through online lottery sales. Voting will run until May 31.

The results for the top 10 episodes and the top three in each special category will be announced on August 6, Kokomi Teruhashi’s birthday, and August 16, Kusuo Saiki’s birthday.
