Fans React “Feels Like a Finale”, Star Detective Precure! Episode 13 Sparks Buzz: Usonoir Appears as Story Takes Sudden Turn

The 13th episode of Star Detective Precure! (JP: 名探偵プリキュア！), the latest installment in the long running Precure TV anime series (airing Sundays at 8:30 AM on ABC TV and TV Asahi), aired on the 26th. With a storyline that felt like a final episode and the appearance of what could be considered the ultimate boss, Usonoir, the episode quickly became a hot topic online.

Episode 13, titled “Great Detective vs. Phantom Thief,” follows Anna Akechi and Mikuru Kobayashi as they search for a missing robot toy belonging to a five year old boy named Reiji at a family restaurant in a shopping district. After solving the mystery, they discover that the culprit is Nijee, who had been in disguise. Once revealed, Nijee flees the scene with the toy.

Chasing after him, Anna and the others head into the shopping district. When Nijee transforms the robot toy into a Hanninda, Anna and Mikuru transform into Star Detective Precure to fight back. At that moment, Luluka Moria arrives alongside Mashutan.

After hearing from Mashutan that Usonoir is approaching, Nijee panics, warning that “the world might be destroyed.” Luluka agrees and transforms into Cure Arcana Shadow, cornering Cure Answer and Cure Mystique.

Then, the boss of the Phantom Thieves Guild, Usonoir, finally appears. In the battle scene, his overwhelming strength pushes Cure Answer and Cure Mystique into a desperate situation, creating a bleak and intense development.
