Blue Lock Live Action Film Casts &TEAM’s K as Seishiro Nagi, Character Visual Revealed

The live action film adaptation of Blue Lock, set for theatrical release on August 7, 2026, has announced a new cast member. K, a member of the nine member global group &TEAM, will portray Seishiro Nagi, and a character visual has been revealed alongside the announcement.

Seishiro Nagi is a prodigious forward known for his extraordinary soccer instincts. Despite his exceptional talent, he is extremely lazy and initially has little interest in soccer. However, after being discovered by his classmate Reo Mikage, he is drawn into the sport. Armed with innate physical ability and remarkable ball control, Nagi demonstrates plays that are beyond the reach of ordinary players.

Blue Lock is based on the popular soccer manga currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story follows Yoichi Isagi, an unknown high school forward, as he battles rivals in intense competition to become the striker who will revolutionize Japanese soccer.

Set within the Blue Lock Project, a radical training program established by the Japan Football Union to create a striker capable of leading Japan to World Cup victory, the story gathers 300 high school forwards from across the country into a fierce survival competition.

With over 50 million copies in circulation, the franchise has expanded widely across media. The television anime aired its first season from October 2022 to March 2023, followed by a second season from October to December 2024. The series has also been adapted into a game in 2022 and a stage production in 2023, with a sequel anime currently in production.

The live action film is produced by CREDEUS, known for works such as the Kingdom series, the Golden Kamuy series, and Kokuho.
