Netflix Live-Action ONE PIECE Season 3 Set for 2027 Release: The Battle of Alabasta Begins
It has been announced that Season 3 of the live-action ONE PIECE series, distributed on Netflix, will be released worldwide exclusively in 2027. The official title is ONE PIECE The Battle of Alabasta. Set in the desert kingdom of Alabasta, the story will usher in a new chapter of adventure.

Based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda, currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump published by Shueisha, the series follows the ocean adventures of Monkey D Luffy and his Straw Hat crew. Season 2, titled INTO THE GRAND LINE, which began streaming on March 10, achieved strong global success, ranking No 1 for three consecutive weeks in Netflix weekly global rankings in the English TV category.
A New Threat Awaits in the Kingdom of Alabasta
While Season 2 depicted the crew entering the Grand Line, Season 3 introduces even greater dangers. The story centers on Alabasta, the homeland of Princess Vivi, whom the crew meets during their journey. Behind a rebellion erupting among the citizens lies a deeper conspiracy.
At the center of this plot is Crocodile, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea recognized by the World Government, known for his overwhelming power. Alongside his criminal organization Baroque Works, a sinister plan is set in motion.
To stop this ruthless scheme, the Straw Hat crew must rely on their bonds and face a new battle filled with traps and strategy.
Expanding Scale and Anticipation for Future Updates
With an even larger scale, the live-action ONE PIECE continues to move forward into its next adventure. As anticipation builds toward its 2027 release, further updates are expected to draw significant attention.
