The story and preview images for Episode 2 of the TV anime Ascendance of a Bookworm: Fanatic Goes to Any Lengths to Become a Librarian (JP: 本好きの下剋上 ～司書になるためには手段を選んでいられません～) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, April 11 at 5:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 2 Story

Now the adopted daughter of the Archduke, Rozemyne heads to the temple for her inauguration ceremony as the High Bishop, accompanied by her guard knights Damuel and Brigitte.

Despite being overwhelmed with a mountain of work immediately after her appointment, her heart leaps at the prospect of reuniting with Benno, a merchant from the Gilberta Company and an ally from the lower city, and Lutz, her childhood friend and merchant apprentice.

However, the two maintain a strict distance, treating her solely as a noble interacting with merchants. As Rozemyne's sadness grows, Lutz hands her a letter from her family back in the lower city.
