Synopsis

“I am actually Toko Kirishima.”

The true identity of a mysterious and hugely popular online singer is revealed to be national actress Mai Sakurajima, sending the audience into an uproar.

This scene mirrors the dream that Sakuta Azusagawa saw on Christmas Eve. On April 1, Mai’s shocking confession triggers a series of impossible events that many had once only seen in their dreams.

Posts on social media tagged “#Dreaming” that turn dreams into reality begin to disappear, while Sakuta struggles with the growing gap between what he perceives and what is actually happening.

Then, he receives a message from another version of himself in a different possible world.

“Stop Toko Kirishima before reality is rewritten.”

In order to restore the altered world, Sakuta sets out to find Toko Kirishima.

This is a story about overcoming Adolescence Syndrome.
