Kindergarten WARS Anime Reveals New Cast, PV, and Sunrise x FelixFilm Production Collaboration

The anime Kindergarten WARS has revealed new cast members alongside a fresh PV, with Sunrise and FelixFilm confirmed as production studios. The TV anime is set to air in spring 2027, with a new teaser visual and promotional video also unveiled.

New Visual and Character Lineup Revealed

The updated teaser visual builds upon the one first shown at Jump Festa last year, now featuring additional characters including Hana, Luke, and Silvia. The illustration depicts rookie teacher Rita and senior teacher Doug standing in the playground of Black Kindergarten. Surrounding them are Rita’s junior colleague Hana, former police officer Luke, and former courier Silvia, creating a more dynamic and enhanced visual.

Additional Cast and Character Details

The newly announced cast includes Hitomi Owada as Hana, Satoshi Hino as Luke, and Mariya Ise as Silvia.

Hana, voiced by Owada, is a junior teacher in the Dandelion class under Rita. She is the youngest member of the assassin family known as the Bradley family and fights using grenades and a bat. She approaches Rita and Doug for help in rescuing her captured older brother.

Luke, voiced by Hino, is a teacher in the Chrysanthemum class. A former police officer imprisoned for killing his superior, he maintains a cool and composed demeanor. However, he secretly has a deep love for girls' manga and is an intense romantic admirer. His favorite book is Dango Over Rice.

Silvia, voiced by Ise, is also a teacher in the Chrysanthemum class. A former courier, she skillfully drives the kindergarten bus using her advanced driving techniques. Armed with dual submachine guns, she remains calm and composed in battle. She also tends to look at Luke in a somewhat suggestive way.

Story Overview and Staff

The story follows Rita, a former legendary assassin who now works at a kindergarten attended by the children of influential figures from around the world. She protects the children from relentless assassination attempts. While Rita overwhelms enemies with her extraordinary strength, she has a weakness for handsome men. The series blends intense action with romantic comedy in what is described as “the safest kindergarten in the world.”

Rita is voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki, while Doug is voiced by Kentaro Kumagai. The anime is directed by Shinsuke Gomi, with character design by Junko Yamanaka.
