Petals of Reincarnation Episode 1 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Supernatural Battles Powered by Past Life Talents

The story and preview images for Episode 1 of the TV anime Petals of Reincarnation (JP: リィンカーネーションの花弁) have been revealed. This episode will air on Friday, April 3 at 12:30 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 1 Story

Toya Senji is a high school student who has grown up in the shadow of his brilliant older brother, leading to a deep seated inferiority complex regarding his own lack of talent. Amidst swirling rumors of a serial killer, he encounters a transfer student named Haito Luo Buffett.

Haito is a "Returner," someone who has awakened a talent from a previous life using a "Branch of Reincarnation," a tool that grants power by cutting one's own neck. However, the Branch of Reincarnation is a double edged sword; it can revive the genius of great historical figures or the malice of notorious criminals.

After witnessing a battle between Haito and the crazed serial killer Albert H. Fish, Toya's desperate thirst for talent drives him to reach for this forbidden power. Driven by jealousy and a need to excel, the young boy steps into a dangerous destiny to make his own talent bloom.
