Girls und Panzer Final Chapter Part 5 Premieres in Japan on October 9

It has been confirmed that Girls und Panzer Final Chapter Part 5 will open in Japanese theaters on October 9, 2026. In addition to standard screenings, the film will be shown in five different formats, including the series first attempt at Dolby Cinema, as well as Dolby Atmos, 4DX, and MX4D screenings beginning on the same day.

The franchise has previously offered immersive viewing formats such as Dolby Atmos and motion theater experiences like 4DX and MX4D. With the addition of Dolby Cinema, Part 5 will deliver the most technologically advanced theatrical presentation the series has ever attempted.


Special Movie Ticket With Clear File Bonus Announced

A MoviTicket card bundled with a clear file bonus for Girls und Panzer Final Chapter Part 5 will also go on sale. Sales will begin on March 27 at participating theaters scheduled to screen the film.

The bonus item is a clear file featuring the teaser visual design.

In addition, the MoviTicket set will be sold at the Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures booth during AnimeJapan 2026, which will take place at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28 and 29.

Another announcement revealed that pilot footage of the spinoff comic adaptation “Girls und Panzer Ribbon Warrior” will be screened following the theatrical run of Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! Part 4.

The original spin off comic was created by Takeshi Nogami and Takaaki Suzuki. Animation production for the pilot footage will be handled by Actas, the studio responsible for the main Girls und Panzer anime series.
