The official spin-off manga Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! by Nii-Marco is getting an anime adaptation. The manga, which has been serialized in Monthly Comic Alive since 2013, focuses on the everyday lives of the Girls und Panzer characters. The adaptation will be a four-part theatrical release, starting next winter.

The anime will be helmed by Masami Shimoda (Zegapain series) as director, with Noboru Kimura (Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture) handling the series composition. The animation production will be a powerhouse collaboration between P.A.WORKS (SHIROBAKO) and Actas (Girls und Panzer).

The Girls und Panzer series is set in a world where "Senshadou" (Tankery)—a martial art involving tanks—is considered a refined pursuit for young women, alongside traditional arts like flower arrangement and tea ceremony.
