The Blu ray and DVD for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 will be released in three volumes in Japan, beginning with Volume 1 on April 15. The jacket illustration for Volume 2 features Fern, newly drawn by character designer Maru Takase. The visual depicts Fern walking peacefully while holding bread to eat with Frieren and Stark during their travels. Her calm expression and relaxed atmosphere capture a quiet moment from their journey.

Volume 1, released on April 15, presents a contrasting scene. Its jacket illustration shows Frieren lying down and spending the night reading a stack of books. Together, the two covers highlight the everyday moments experienced by both master and apprentice during their travels.

Another highlight revealed alongside the jacket is the first production limited bonus included with Volume 2. The bonus is a newly illustrated mini colored board drawn by Tsukasa Abe, the artist responsible for the original manga.

The illustration features two notable characters who appear in the story arc beginning with Episode 34 titled “Subjugation Request.” This arc centers on Revolte, known as the Divine Revolte Arc.

The mini illustration board showcases first class mages Genau and Methode, both important characters in the arc. The artwork reflects Abe’s signature style, delivering a delicate and visually striking depiction of the two mages.
