The story and preview images for Episode 9 of the TV anime Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in a World of Brutal Difficulty Settings (JP: ヘルモード ～やり込み好きのゲーマーは廃設定の異世界で無双する～) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, March 7 at 1:05 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 9 Story

One day, a B-rank magical beast appears near the town. Though the knights and gate guards struggle bravely against an opponent far stronger than themselves, they are gradually pushed back.

Allen rushes to the scene and, in order to save the townspeople under attack, offers himself as a decoy. The magical beast persistently pursues Allen as he draws it away.

As spring arrives, Allen faces a long-awaited rematch against Mikhail Granvelle.
