Hell Mode Anime Premieres January 2026 Starring Mutsumi Tamura, Mayu Iizuka, Tasuku Hatanaka, and Ayaka Senbongi

The TV anime Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing (JP: ヘルモード ～やり込み好きのゲーマーは廃設定の異世界で無双する～) is officially slated to air in January 2026. Alongside the broadcast announcement, the main characters and voice cast have been revealed: Mutsumi Tamura will play Allen, Mayu Iizuka will voice Krena, Tasuku Hatanaka takes on the role of Dogora, and Ayaka Senbongi will portray Cecil Granvelle.

The series begins with a 35-year-old single office worker who is reincarnated into a fantasy world as a serf boy named Allen. Before reincarnation, he despised easy games and longed for something he could immerse himself in for over a decade. That wish lands him in a new world on the highest difficulty setting: “HELL MODE.”

Armed with the unique and enigmatic talent of “Summoner,” Allen begins his grueling journey toward becoming the strongest. With no walkthroughs or online forums to rely on, leveling up proves to be a far greater challenge than expected. Thus unfolds a high-difficulty fantasy adventure tale of a former hardcore gamer navigating an impossibly harsh new world.
