On the 21st, the animation studio ufotable released fresh information through a promotional reel introducing its Futuro Projects lineup. The video highlighted the anime adaptation of the game Genshin Impact, the second chapter of Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle which serves as the sequel to the currently screening first chapter, and Katsugeki Touken Ranbu.

Promotional Reel Confirms Ongoing Production

While the reel did not disclose specific details about the current production status of each title, it clearly presented the project logos and confirmed that all three works remain in development.

Both the Genshin Impact anime and Katsugeki Touken Ranbu were originally announced several years ago. Since then, fans had voiced concerns online about the lack of updates and whether production was still moving forward. The newly released footage reassured viewers by prominently featuring the titles and reaffirming their continued production.

Regarding Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba, ufotable had previously announced that the Infinity Castle arc would be adapted as a theatrical trilogy. With Chapter One currently in theaters, the promotional reel unveiled the official logo for Chapter Two for the first time, confirming that work on the sequel is actively underway.

Fans Express Relief Online

Following the announcement, social media users expressed relief and excitement. Comments included reactions such as being glad that Katsugeki Touken Ranbu has not been forgotten and hoping for further updates soon, as well as appreciation that the Genshin Impact anime adaptation is indeed progressing and not merely a past announcement without follow through.

The latest reveal has reassured fans that ufotable continues to move forward with its major projects, even if detailed timelines have yet to be shared.
