JUJUTSU KAISEN Exhibition Features Voice Guides by Junya Enoki and Junichi Suwabe: "Absolutely Worth Seeing" with Shibuya Hikarie Collaboration [Comments Included]

The large-scale exhibition "Gege Akutami's 'JUJUTSU KAISEN' Exhibition," which unveils the "secrets behind the creation" of the manga Jujutsu Kaisen, will be held at Hikarie Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo, from July 6th to August 27th. The audio guide, official catalog, and Shibuya Hikarie collaboration details have been announced.

Junya Enoki (voice of Yuji Itadori) and Junichi Suwabe (voice of Sukuna) from the Jujutsu Kaisen anime will feature in the audio guide. As navigators, they will unravel the secrets behind Gege Akutami's creation process. The audio guide is priced at 800 yen (including tax).

The official catalog, packed with an overwhelming amount of information revealed in the exhibition, will be available at the official shop in the venue. The comprehensive volume spans 192 pages and includes not only completed manuscripts but also numerous unpublished storyboards and drafts on display at the exhibition.

The collaboration with Shibuya Hikarie will feature photo spots throughout the building. As part of the exhibition's support fair, 21 restaurants within the building will host a collaborative menu campaign, offering a novelty sticker for each order of a collaboration menu item.

The highlights of the exhibition include an extensive display of the digital methods used in creating Jujutsu Kaisen, with commentary from the author. Visitors will get a glimpse into how the story, characters, and illustrations were developed and evolved to reach their final form. Rare storyboards and drafts will also be generously exhibited.

Jujutsu Kaisen began its serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in March 2018. The dark fantasy manga revolves around high school student Yuji Itadori, who enters a world of battles over curses after unsealing a powerful cursed object.

The manga has surpassed 90 million copies in circulation. The TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021, gaining immense popularity. A theatrical anime was released in December 2021, and the second season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2023. The production of the sequel, "JUJUTSU KAISEN: Cursed Womb," has also been confirmed.
