Guilty Gear Series to Get First TV Anime Adaptation; Produced by Sanzigen

Arc System Works Co., Ltd. has announced the production of the first-ever TV anime adaptation of the "Guilty Gear" series, titled "GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS."

The "GUILTY GEAR" series, a highly popular fighting game series that debuted in 1998, has seen tremendous success with its latest installment, "GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-," boasting over 2.5 million users worldwide.

As a new development, the series' first TV anime, "GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS," has been confirmed, and a teaser visual has been released. The animation will be produced by Sanzigen, known for creating numerous CG animations and the original music video for Sol Badguy's theme song "Find Your One Way" from "GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-."

The director of the anime will be Shigeru Morikawa, known for the "Argonavis AXIA" movie series. The screenplay will be written by Norimitsu Kaiho, who has been involved in the scenario writing for the "Guilty Gear" series. Additionally, Seiji Mizushima, who has worked on the "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" series and the "Fullmetal Alchemist" series, will serve as an associate producer.
