Kenjiro Tsuda (JP: 津田健次郎), one of Japan’s most acclaimed voice actors, celebrates 30 years of voice acting with the release of a commemorative photobook titled Kenjiro Tsuda PHOTOBOOK since 1995, scheduled for release on March 14.

Tsuda, now 54, has appeared in numerous major anime titles, including Yu Gi Oh Duel Monsters, The Prince of Tennis, Golden Kamuy, and Jujutsu Kaisen. In recent years, he has also expanded his career as an actor, appearing in television dramas such as Saiai, the morning drama series Anpan, the historical drama Unbound, and the Sunday Theater series The Royal Family.

Tracing Three Decades of a Voice Acting Career

Tsuda began his career as a voice actor in 1995. As he reaches the milestone of his 30th anniversary, a period during which his creative output continues to deepen, this photobook offers an in depth look at his journey. The photobook features photo shoots conducted in Jakarta, a place that helped shape his artistic sensibilities, as well as in Tokyo, where he spent his formative student years. The Jakarta location shoot presents Tsuda standing under the intense Southeast Asian sunlight, surrounded by exotic scenery including elegant resort hotels, bustling markets, and a coastline at dusk. These images highlight his mature charm against a richly atmospheric backdrop.

In contrast, the Tokyo shoot follows the places tied to his student days, capturing a more natural and unguarded side of Tsuda as he faces the camera. The book also includes a premium photo segment showcasing personal items he uses in daily life, offering readers a rare glimpse into his private world. In addition, the volume features an extensive interview section created specifically to commemorate his 30 year anniversary.
