The news was revealed during the “KONOSUBA Anime 10th Anniversary Special Live Stream,” which was broadcast on YouTube today. Alongside the Season 4 announcement, a special 10th anniversary visual was unveiled, and multiple commemorative projects were introduced.

About KONOSUBA and Its 10-Year Legacy

KONOSUBA: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is a comedy fantasy series that follows Kazuma Sato, a game loving shut in whose life abruptly ends due to an unexpected traffic accident. He is then reincarnated into an RPG like fantasy world, where he aims to live a comfortable life but instead finds himself caught up in a series of chaotic and humorous adventures alongside his eccentric companions.

The television anime first began airing in 2016 and has since built a strong global fanbase.

10th Anniversary Event Confirmed for July 2026

A large scale event celebrating the anime’s 10th anniversary will be held in July 2026 at Pacifico Yokohama in Japan. Additional details, including more guest appearances, are scheduled to be announced around March.

Original Audio Drama Written by Natsume Akatsuki Announced

A brand new original audio drama, written exclusively by original author Natsume Akatsuki, has been announced. The project will depict Kazuma and his companions’ chaotic seasonal adventures across spring, summer, autumn, and winter in the town of Axel over the course of one year.

The audio drama will be distributed on YouTube. The winter episode is titled White Snow Fairy Tale (JP: ホワイトスノー・フェアリーテイル～氷華の季節～). A special newly illustrated anime visual was also revealed.

New Official KONOSUBA Game Announced for Mobile and PC

An official brand new game based on the KONOSUBA anime series has been announced, featuring an original story. The project is supervised by original author Natsume Akatsuki, with cooperation from original illustrator Kurone Mishima.

A teaser website has already been launched, and comments from both Akatsuki and Mishima regarding the game adaptation were also released.

The game, titled KONOSUBA: God’s Blessing on This Beloved City!, is scheduled for release on mobile and PC platforms in 2026.
