The popular manga "Soul Eater" by Atsushi Ohkubo, serialized in "Monthly Shonen Gangan" (published by Square Enix) from 2004, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the "Soul Eater 20th Anniversary Original Art Exhibition" in Tokyo and Osaka. The key visual has been unveiled.

The series features the scythe-wielding girl Maka and her partner, the cool scythe Soul Eater; the attention-seeking assassin Black☆Star and the versatile high-performance weapon Tsubaki; and Death the Kid, the symmetry-obsessed son of Shinigami, along with his twin pistols Liz & Patty. Set in the Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA), the story is a pop and crazy battle action with captivating characters.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of "Soul Eater," the first large-scale original art exhibition will be held. Visitors can relive the stories of Maka, Soul, and other "Meisters" and "Weapons" while viewing precious original manuscripts by Ohkubo-sensei. A special video featuring newly recorded voices of Maka (Chiaki Omigawa) and Soul (Koki Uchiyama) is also available.
