The story and preview images for Episode 3 of the TV anime Champignon Witch (JP: シャンピニオンの魔女) have been revealed. This episode is scheduled to air on Friday, January 16 at 1:58 AM (JST). This episode will later be made available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode3 Story

While visiting a river with Minos and Merino, Luna discovers an unconscious and strikingly handsome young man. However, she soon realizes that he has been stabbed in the chest and is on the brink of death, with a poisonous scent emanating from his wound.

As Luna attempts to draw the poison out of his body, a massive black mushroom known as the “Shinigami Mushroom” suddenly appears. Amid the surge of ominous poison it releases, Luna somehow manages to purify the Shinigami Mushroom.

Yet, when everything settles, the man she saved is no longer a young adult. For reasons unknown, he has transformed into a boy…

Introduction

Deep within the black forest, in a quiet house of poisonous mushrooms, lived a lone witch named Luna. Wherever she touched or walked, poisonous mushrooms often grew, and the breath she exhaled and even her skin were tainted with poison.

The townspeople called her the “Champignon Witch.” Feared as a black witch, not a single person dared to approach her.

Even so, Luna heads to town again today to sell her medicine. Her remedies are hugely popular as miracle cures, and everyone who obtains them speaks words of gratitude in unison. Yet no one knows who actually makes the medicine.

Still, Luna continues to brew her medicines day after day.

Then one day, a dreamlike encounter comes to lonely Luna, who has never known the warmth of another person……

A magical fantasy of love, adventure, and emotion now begins!

This is a story of love, each in its own form, surrounding the kind-hearted black witch Luna and the people around her.
