The story and preview images for Episode 2 of the TV anime Champignon Witch (JP: シャンピニオンの魔女) have been revealed. This episode is scheduled to air on Friday, January 9 at 1:58 AM (JST). The initial broadcast will feature Episodes 1 and 2 airing back to back. The series will later be made available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode2 Story

Luna returns to the town once again and reunites with Henri. It seems that Henri remembers what happened that night and calls out to her.

Hesitantly, Luna opens up and confesses that she is nothing more than a mass of dangerous poison. Even so, Henri gently smiles and tells her that she is nothing like the rumors, sensing the kindness within Luna.

At that moment, police officers arrive after receiving reports from the townspeople. With the help of her raven familiar, Claude, Luna narrowly manages to escape.
However, Claude warns her sternly, telling her never to see Henri again.

Introduction

Deep within the black forest, in a quiet house of poisonous mushrooms, lived a lone witch named Luna. Wherever she touched or walked, poisonous mushrooms often grew, and the breath she exhaled and even her skin were tainted with poison.

The townspeople called her the “Champignon Witch.” Feared as a black witch, not a single person dared to approach her.

Even so, Luna heads to town again today to sell her medicine. Her remedies are hugely popular as miracle cures, and everyone who obtains them speaks words of gratitude in unison. Yet no one knows who actually makes the medicine.

Still, Luna continues to brew her medicines day after day.

Then one day, a dreamlike encounter comes to lonely Luna, who has never known the warmth of another person……

A magical fantasy of love, adventure, and emotion now begins!

This is a story of love, each in its own form, surrounding the kind-hearted black witch Luna and the people around her.
