The story and preview images for Episode 1 of the TV anime Dead Account (JP: デッドアカウント) have been revealed. This episode is scheduled to air on Saturday, January 10 at 11:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 1 Story

In order to pay for his younger sister Akari’s medical treatment, Soji Enishiro had been working as a controversial streamer under the name “Aorin-go,” known for his provocative online behavior.

After finally earning enough to cover the treatment costs, Soji begins spending his days looking forward to exchanging messages with Hiyori, who is currently far away. However, one night, a mysterious man suddenly appears and tells him, “Your sister died a month ago.”

The messages that had been arriving until just the day before leave Soji confused. What were they, really?

In the next instant, Hiyori, who should have been dead, emerges from the smartphone right in front of him. Faced with Hiyori, now transformed into what is known as a “Bake-Account,” Soji is left powerless.

At that moment, responding to his intense desire to save his sister, blue flames burst forth from Soji’s smartphone.
