Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX has unveiled new details surrounding its first home release, including newly illustrated package artwork and an original drama CD preview.

Newly Illustrated Package Art and Original Drama CD Details

New information has been announced for the television anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. Ahead of the January 28 release of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Vol.1, available as both a Blu ray and disc less package, newly illustrated artwork for the storage box and digi jacket has been revealed. The illustrations were newly created by the main staff for this release.

Original Drama CD Story and Cast Lineup

The original drama CD is titled Side Story Episode 1 Shuuji’s Drawing. Set in the Izuma Colony, the story depicts events involving Machu and the others that were not portrayed in the main series.

Story Overview of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX follows Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl living a peaceful life in a space colony. Her life changes after meeting Nyaan, a girl who is a war refugee, drawing her into an illegal mobile suit dueling competition known as Clan Battle.

Under the entry name Machu, Amate pilots the GQuuuuuuX and plunges into a series of fierce battles. As she fights on, she encounters a mysterious mobile suit known only as Gundam and its young pilot Shuji, who are being pursued by both the space military and the police. Their meeting signals the dawn of a new era.
