The story and preview images for Episode 11 of the TV anime A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace (JP: 笑顔のたえない職場です。) have been revealed. This episode will air on Friday, December 15 at 10:00 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 11 Story

With the full launch of the spinoff project approaching, Alisa Nashida begins to lose her nerve. She drags Nana Futami along with her to visit their mentor, Ren Takizawa. There, the two learn about the past of the now-incredibly successful manga artist.

Meanwhile, Nekonote has come to Tokyo for spring break. Together with Futami and Mizuki Hazama, she decides to tail Nashida and Toko as they enjoy a “one-day date experience” arranged for research purposes… or so it seems.

Futami is a fledgling shojo manga artist.

With the help of her cool editor and her reliable assistants, she finally managed to start serialization of her long-desired shogi manga To Subaru...

But...stress upset her stomach, and she had to ask for an extension from the very first chapter.

Her storyboards wouldn’t progress, forcing her to stay glued to her desk until late at night.

She gained weight from late-night snacks, and her wild fantasies just wouldn’t stop...
