The story and preview images for Episode 9 of the TV anime A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace (JP: 笑顔のたえない職場です。) have been revealed. This episode will air on Friday, November 28 at 1:28 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 9 Story

While out on a walk to support her dieting efforts, Nana Futami comes across an abandoned puppy and decides to take it in. She cannot help but see her own former struggles as a declining manga artist reflected in the tiny creature.

Hoping to care for it properly, Futami persuades Mizuki Hazama to let her keep the puppy at their workplace. The innocent and adorable newcomer quickly wins over everyone it meets, including Nashida, Sato, Toko, and Asakura.

Meanwhile, Nashida, who is currently in a creative slump, receives a mysterious fan letter that may just change her fate.
