The story and preview images for Episode 9 of the TV anime My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's (JP: 暗殺者である俺のステータスが勇者よりも明らかに強いのだが) have been revealed. This episode will air on Tuesday, December 2 at 1:30 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode9 Story

Akira and the Hero’s party gather to discuss their future plans. After confirming that they share the same ultimate goal, they agree to act separately for the time being. Akira, along with Amelia and Crow, sets off for the royal capital, Ulk City.

There, they are reunited with Lia, who escorts Akira and Amelia to the royal palace. However, during their audience, the King of Ulk openly belittles Akira and even makes selfish demands. Enraged by the insult, Amelia loses her composure—but to calm her down, Akira decides to take on the royal guard in combat.

Introduction

Summoned with his classmates to another world, Akira Oda gains only the ability of an “Assassin”, yet his stats surpass even the strongest Hero.

Vowing to take revenge on the king, Akira flees deep into an unexplored labyrinth, where he encounters Amelia, an elf girl who will change his fate.

This is the tale of a boy who gained the powers of an “Assassin,” and through meeting an elf girl, begins his path to becoming the ultimate assassin.
