This segment focused on investigating the income of comedians with less than five years of experience. Studio guests were asked to guess the average monthly earnings of 225 young comedians, with estimates ranging from forty two thousand yen (about 269 dollars) to nine thousand yen (about 58 dollars).

Most comedians and actors in Japan earn very little from their primary profession, and the majority rely on part time jobs or other work to make a living.

Miyano then shared his own experience, stating that excluding his part time job, his monthly income as a newcomer was likely around sixty four thousand yen (about 410 dollars). When another guest asked whether young voice actors had equivalent beginner level tasks like comedians doing warm up acts, Miyano confirmed that such work did exist. He explained that young actors often joined large crowd scenes without receiving specific roles, similar to extras.

Miyano began his career at the age of seven as a child actor with the Himawari Theatre Group, and he has since gone on to voice numerous major characters. His notable roles include Light Yagami in Death Note, Setsuna F. Seiei in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Tokiya Ichinose in Uta no Prince sama, and Doma in Demon Slayer.

Beyond voice acting, he has appeared in television dramas such as the NHK morning series Ranman and Ōoku Season 2: Bakumatsu Arc. As a singer, he has also performed at the Nippon Budokan, and his musical theater experience includes productions like Les Misérables. Miyano continues to be active across a wide range of Japanese entertainment, including regular appearances on variety programs.
