The story and preview images for Episode 8 of the TV anime The Richest Man in Game (JP: 破産富豪) have been revealed. This episode will air on Thursday, November 20 at 1:40 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 8 Story

A week has passed since the employees joined DaTeng Corporation, but they have yet to be assigned any work. Spending their days idly playing games, anxiety begins to spread among the staff. Rumours circulate that their elusive CEO, Pei Qian, who hasn’t shown up even once since their first day, is secretly working on business expansion plans. In reality, however, Pei is racking his brain over how to lose money. After much thought, he arrives at one unexpected conclusion.

Introduction

A worn-out corporate drone time-leaps back to his college days but the key to success in his second life is… starting a business and running it at a loss!?

Pei Chen, an unremarkable salaryman, is once again forced by his boss to work late into the night. Suddenly, his smartphone screen begins to glow, and before he knows it, he’s been sent back in time to his student days.

While still reeling from confusion, a mysterious figure calling itself the “Richest,” a so-called Wealth Conversion System, appears before Chen. It offers him funding and the chance to become truly rich.

Overjoyed at the prospect of escaping his “corporate slave” life, Chen readily accepts.
