The story and preview images for Episode 3 of the TV anime The Richest Man in Game (JP: 破産富豪) have been revealed. This episode will air on Thursday, October 16 at 1:40 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 3 Story

After his newly released game becomes an unexpected hit, Pei Qian panics when he realises he only made a small amount of money. Desperate to find a way to lose money, he meets up with his friends Ma Yang and others for a gaming session. Watching Ma Yang’s hilariously poor gameplay gives Pei Qian an idea perhaps Ma Yang’s incompetence could actually help him create a project that bleeds red ink. Convinced, he invites Ma Yang to join the development of his next “deficit-making” game.

Introduction

A worn-out corporate drone time-leaps back to his college days but the key to success in his second life is… starting a business and running it at a loss!?

Pei Chen, an unremarkable salaryman, is once again forced by his boss to work late into the night. Suddenly, his smartphone screen begins to glow, and before he knows it, he’s been sent back in time to his student days.

While still reeling from confusion, a mysterious figure calling itself the “Richest,” a so-called Wealth Conversion System, appears before Chen. It offers him funding and the chance to become truly rich.
