The TV anime SPY×FAMILY Season 3 will enter the highly anticipated “Bus Hijacking Arc” starting from the November 8 broadcast.

While on a school field trip, Anya, Damian, Becky, and other Eden Academy students find themselves caught in a bus hijacking orchestrated by a terrorist group. With no dependable adults around, the children must face the crisis on their own. The episode promises the perfect balance of suspense and comedy that defines SPY×FAMILY.

Ahead of the episode’s release, a new promotional video (PV) using footage from the arc has been unveiled. The video features the ending theme song “Actor” by Lila Ikuta. It begins with cheerful scenes from the peaceful field trip, then quickly shifts in tone, revealing a chilling shot of Anya with a strange device attached to her neck.

SPY×FAMILY follows the story of Loid Forger, a master spy working to maintain world peace. For his latest mission, he adopts a telepathic girl named Anya and enters into a fake marriage with Yor, a professional assassin. Together, they form a “pretend family” while concealing their true identities and navigating a series of comedic and action-packed situations.

The original manga, written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo, has been serialized in Shonen Jump+ since March 2019, with the collected volumes surpassing 38 million copies in circulation. The first cour of the anime aired from April to June 2022, followed by the second cour from October to December the same year. Season 2 aired from October to December 2023, and a theatrical film released that December went on to gross over 6.26 billion yen at the box office.
