When asked about the amount of royalties he receives, Sagisu admitted with a laugh, “It changes every three months, but it’s still in the tens of millions of yen.” He added humorously, “When you see that eighth digit, you can’t help but dance a little.”
He revealed that he currently owns nine homes around the world, with five in France, three in Tokyo, and one in London, and that he moves between them every three months to stay creatively inspired.
The program also featured violinist and MC Chisako Takashima visiting Sagisu’s Paris residence, a 260-year-old mansion once owned by a finance minister from the era of Louis XVI. The property was valued at over 260 million yen, with an additional 50 million yen spent on renovations.
