The story and preview images for Episode 17 of the TV anime Let This Grieving Soul Retire! (JP: 嘆きの亡霊は引退したい, Nageki no Borei ha Intaishitai) have been revealed. This episode will air on Monday, October 27 at 11:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 17 Story

In order to escape from Arnold and his team, Krai and his companions attempt to cross the monster-infested Garest Mountains. Amidst this dangerous region, they encounter the brutal monster known as the Lost Giant (Pote Dragos). Realising the danger, Krai quickly orders a retreat, and after a desperate flight, the group manages to narrowly evade its relentless pursuit.

Finally reaching the lakeside, they decide to rest and enjoy a peaceful camp together. However, their respite is suddenly shattered when a furious Arnold appears before them. Yet something about him seems strangely different this time…
