“At the end of Season 2, the announcement said ‘a continuation is in production.’ I imagine many of you were wondering whether that meant a third season or a movie. Well, it turns out it’s both!

Thanks to all the fans and everyone who has supported The Apothecary Diaries, we’ve reached our second anniversary. To live up to your expectations, we’re currently working hard on both Season 3 and the theatrical film.

Season 3 will have a completely different atmosphere from Season 2, and together with the production team, we’re doing our best to make it even more enjoyable than the first two seasons. While my involvement in the TV anime is limited, I’ve put a lot of effort into the film. It’s a completely new story that I wrote myself. Yes, I wrote it — a story that has never been published online or in any book.

There’s plenty more exciting news to come, and I hope we can continue to enjoy this journey together. Thank you for your continued support.”

The ending of Season 2 was so beautiful that I thought it might mark a natural conclusion, so I was shocked and thrilled to learn we’d continue right away.
