The latest entry in the Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway film series, titled Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, will be released across 365 theaters in Japan on January 30, 2026. Alongside the announcement, the production unveiled a new trailer and key visuals.

The trailer depicts Hathaway Noa, unable to suppress his feelings for Gigi Andalucia, as he continues his mission as Mafty Navue Erin, while Kenneth Sleg prepares to eliminate Mafty’s forces. The intertwined destinies of these three characters unfold against the backdrop of political conflict and inner turmoil. The official website also revealed new characters who will appear in this second installment, and the film is confirmed for international theatrical release as well.

The Hathaway’s Flash project began as part of the Gundam 40th Anniversary and the “UC NexT 0100” initiative, which depicts the century following the Universal Century. The story continues the world of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack (1988), following the anti-Earth Federation movement Mafty led by Hathaway Noa, and exploring his complex relationship with Gigi and Kenneth.

The first film, released in 2021, became a major success, grossing 2.23 billion yen in Japan.
