The upcoming installment in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash anime film series, titled MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM HATHAWAY The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, is officially slated for release this winter.

A teaser video has also been revealed, showcasing the return of Kensho Ono as the voice of protagonist Hathaway Noa. The film is directed by Shukou Murase and backed by a team of accomplished creators.

Coinciding with the finale of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX (episode 12), the teaser's sudden drop caught fans off guard. One fan even humorously referenced a famous line from the first film, commenting, “Previews always come when you least expect them, Hathaway.”

Originally released in 2021, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash marked the second entry in the "UC NexT 0100" project, commemorating the 40th anniversary of Gundam in 2019 and exploring the next century of the Universal Century timeline. The series builds upon the world established in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack (1988), which depicted the final showdown between Amuro Ray and Char Aznable.

Set against the backdrop of the anti-Earth Federation movement known as Mafty, the story follows Hathaway Noa, mysterious girl Gigi Andalucia, and Federation Colonel Kenneth Sleg as their fates intertwine.

The first film in the series became a major box-office success, earning over 2.23 billion yen after its 2021 release.
