The story and preview images for Episode 2 of the TV anime The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest (JP: 味方が弱すぎて補助魔法に徹していた宮廷魔法師、追放されて最強を目指す) have been revealed. This episode will air on Saturday, October 11 at 11:30 PM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 2 Story

Four years ago, the legendary four-member party “Lasting Period” conquered the 68th floor of the royal capital dungeon, a feat that had been deemed impossible, setting a new record. Upon graduating from the Magic Academy, they vowed to reunite someday and each went their separate ways.

In the present, Alec Yugret has resigned from his post as a court magician and set his sights on becoming an adventurer who challenges the depths of the dungeon. At a tavern, he encounters guild master Leviel Stanz and agrees to a duel with a dungeon access permit on the line. Struggling against Leviel’s overwhelming strength, Alec suddenly finds an unexpected ally (one of his former comrades) appearing before him.

The wheels of fate begin to turn again after a sudden “banishment.”

Alec Yugret, the court magician who supported Crown Prince Regulus Caldana from the shadows.

Although he dedicated himself to “support magic” to protect the too-weak Regulus, Alec is dismissed and loses his position.
